‘Three huge players could quit Liverpool as well as Van Dijk and Trent’
Liverpool could lose more than three key players this summer as they eye a potential overhaul of their squad come the end of the season.
The Reds remain in contention to win the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup this season and their relative success could alter their players’ futures.
They have begun putting plans in place to strengthen their squad in the summer with several key targets having already been identified.
However, their business is likely to depend on which players leave the club come the end of the season amid uncertainty about a number of “huge players”.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely joining Real Madrid while Virgil van Dijk’s future remains undecided as both players approach the end of their contracts at Anfield.
Now, former England goalkeeper has warned Football Insider that Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah could also quit Liverpool this summer.
This comes after former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool want to sign a world-class forward and could cash in on one of their current options.

Liverpool could cash in on Nunez and Diaz before summer spending spree
Questions have been asked about several of the Reds’ attacking players so far this season amid suggestions that Slot is planning an attacking overhaul.
Diaz could leave Liverpool for less than £50million this summer amid interest from Newcastle United who are targeting a new winger as a priority.
Meanwhile, Football Insider exclusively revealed on 4 March that Nunez is unhappy at Liverpool after an offer from Al-Hilal was turned down in the January transfer window.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson explained that decisions will need to be made about their current players’ futures before they can shift their attention towards any incoming deals.
“It’s very difficult to sit here and say ‘this is what they need’,” he told Football Insider.
“This is what they’re potentially going to do because their forward line comes under scrutiny.
“We don’t know what’s happening with Diaz, we don’t know what’s happening with Nunez, we don’t know what’s happening with Mo Salah.
“Those are three huge players.
“We don’t know what’s happening with Virgil van Dijk either.
“We’re almost certain that Trent Alexander-Arnold will go to Real Madrid, that’s the worst-kept secret in football, it looks like it’s done.
“Other than that, Liverpool’s recruitment will depend hugely on who is going to leave the club.
“Let’s not forget, they’re still looking to win the treble this season, so that could change a lot in terms of the manager’s thinking and the players’ futures.
“Liverpool could lose two of their front three, or two centre-halves and a midfielder, their business will all depend on what outgoings there are in the summer.
“At the moment, they’re focused on winning these three trophies, and they’ll address transfer at the end of the season.”

Arne Slot plotting Joao Pedro swoop after summer sales
While transfer activity is not expected to begin until the futures of their key stars is decided, Liverpool have begun identifying potential targets ahead of the window.
One name that has been identified as an option is Brighton star Joao Pedro, who has been a long-term target at Anfield to improve their forward line.
Football Insider revealed on 3 March that Pedro wants to join Liverpool this summer and would welcome the opportunity to hold talks about a move away from Brighton.
However, Liverpool are believed to be targeting a “top-class goalscorer” and there are concerns about whether Pedro would be the best player for that role.
