Young, dazzling and available: Three Man City rising stars Mark Allen can lure to Ibrox in January
Phil Foden
Foden is the flavour of the month at City just now – fresh off England’s World Cup win at Under-17 level – and recently appeared for City’s first-team at the age of 17 in the Champions League.
The midfielder is likely to be the subject of interest from across football – and not just City’s own stable of clubs – but a move to Ibrox could be a fantastic opportunity for the youngster.
With the possibility of competing for a title in the second-half of the season while playing in front of 50,000 fans every other week, Foden could come on leaps and bounds with a move north.
With City having high hopes for Foden, the pressure of being at a huge club would help him prepare much better than six months with Stoke City or West Brom in mid-table and competing to finish 10th.
The Daily Record has reported that Celtic are interested in Foden, so there Gers should definitely try to hijack their hunt for the City teen.
