Striker a dream signing: Three players Celtic must sign after reportedly scouting international clash

Celtic are a club with a lot of ambition and signing someone like Newcastle United striker Mitrovic would be the perfect statement to make.

The Tyneside target man would be an incredible player in Scotland and could become a really good player for them in the Champions League.

While playing against the bigger sides, you need a striker who can hold up the ball and allow the midfield to press forward a bit more.

Celtic’s only current options up front aren’t exactly known for their physical presence – not as much as Mitrovic’s anyway.

The Serbian international would cost a lot of money, perhaps too much, but Newcastle were widely reported to be looking to sell one of their striker’s in the summer so maybe they will think the same next year.

It may be a bit of a dream signing, but Celtic must snap him up if they want to stand a chance against some of the European heavyweights.
