Three strikers Everton could sign in January as Beto concern emerges
Everton have made a largely solid start to the Premier League season, but David Moyes is set to visit the transfer market once more in January.
Everton bolstered their attack in the summer by signing Thierno Barry from Villarreal, while both Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have added creativity.
However, Moyes will be unhappy with the fact that Beto has scored just one goal in six Premier League appearances this term.
Meanwhile, Barry has struggled to make an impact off the bench, and failed to score his first Blues goal when Everton drew 1-1 with West Ham United on Monday, 29 September.
Former Toffees CEO Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that Moyes will want to sign a new striker in January, amid Beto and Barry’s poor form.
But which forwards should the Merseyside club try and sign in the January transfer window?

Ivan Romero
The summer acquisition of Barry proves that Everton are willing to look towards La Liga when it comes to signing strikers.
But while the former Villarreal man has struggled to adjust to the Premier League, Ivan Romero is excelling in the Spanish top flight, and could be ready to make the switch to England.
Only Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe and Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez have scored more goals in La Liga this term than the increasingly prolific 24-year-old.
Romero has scored four goals in seven league appearances this season, having fired Levante to promotion last term.

Josh Sargent
Everton should also be eager to make a swoop for Norwich City hotshot Josh Sargent, who is once again proving himself as one of the best goal scorers in the Championship.
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Sunderland explored a deadline day deal for Sargent, but the Toffees could capitalise on the fact that the USA international didn’t move to the North East.

The 25-year-old previously struggled to make an impact in the Premier League for Norwich in the 2021/22 season, but he has gone on to excel in the Championship.
His return of 15 goals in 32 second-tier outings made for an impressive reading last term, while he has already scored five goals in seven league appearances this time around.
Tim Kleindienst
Moyes could also turn his attention towards the Bundesliga when it comes to acquiring a new striker.
Borussia Monchengladbach ace Tim Kleindienst is currently recovering from a meniscus injury, but proved his clinical tendencies last season, with 16 goals in 31 German top-flight outings.
Meanwhile, Monchengladbach have struggled in the 30-year-old’s absence, meaning that he should be eager for a January transfer window, thanks to the potential threat of relegation to Bundesliga 2.
The likes of Liverpool ace Hugo Ekitike have proven that the German top flight can produce Premier League goal scorers.
