COMMENT By James Black

Celtic cruised to a 4-0 win over Ross County on Saturday afternoon and there was lots to be learned from the game.

Tom Rogic opened the scoring for the Hoops before the returning Moussa Dembele made it 2-0 before the break.

James Forrest’s second-half double had Celtic on easy street as they got over the 5-0 Champions League loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

Celtic extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to two points after recording their 55th domestic game without defeat.

Tactically, Celtic reverted to the three-man defence used against Hamilton – with Anthony Ralston and Nir Bitton partnering Jozo Simunovic – as Rodgers continued to tinker with his side.

Midfielders Jame Forrest and Tom Rogic were Celtic’s star men with the duo causing all sorts of problems for Ross County’s defence.

Both players got on the scoresheet ahead of the midweek trip to Dundee and the visit to Ibrox to face Rangers for the first time this season.
