Celtic ground out a 1-0 win over Dundee to retain their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Olivier Ntcham’s second-half strike saw the Hoops take the win against a determined Dundee side.

The win keeps Celtic level on points with Aberdeen and restores the six-point gap with third-placed Rangers.

Celtic couldn’t get going for long periods and Dundee looked to push their hosts back but lacked a cutting edge to damage Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers made seven changes to his side since their last outing.

Some of those reintroduced will have done their chances of more games no harm.

Dorus de Vries and Christian Gamboa both impressed fans on their returns to the starting XI.
