19-year-old must impress: Three things we expect from Celtic in Ross County clash
COMMENT By Matt Bullin
Celtic take on Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium on Sunday as they look to continue their unbeaten season.
Here are three things Football Insider expects from the Scottish Premiership encounter.
Dembele will score
Celtic’s star man Moussa Dembele did not start last time out against Kilmarnock as he was rested and Patrick Roberts was handed a rare start. The French 20-year-old has been in prolific form this term and has 32 goals in his 47 league and cup appearances. He will be chomping at the bit for 90 minutes after being restricted to a cameo appearance last time out and he is sure to be a handful for County’s defence.
A clean sheet for Gordon

County have only scored 35 goals in 32 Scottish Premiership games this season, and in the previous two ties against Celtic this season the Hoops have won 2-0 and 4-0. Therefore there’s no reason to believe County will trouble Craig Gordon in goal. With Celtic’s impressive defence in front of him there are not likely to be many chances, and Gordon has been in fine form himself so he will be tough to beat.
Eboue to impress
Since his £5million January arrival from Krasnodar the Ivorian has only made three league appearances for the Hoops – one of which was a six minute cameo last time out – and the 19-year-old will be out to impress if he is given a start. Eboue clearly did enough to earn himself a move, and after he was substituted after 62 minutes in his first start versus Partick Thistle, he needs to prove himself to Brendan Rodgers if he is to play a big part in the first team next season.
