£500k player must be binned ASAP: Three things learned about Leeds in loss v Aston Villa
Leeds United slumped to yet another defeat on Friday night as Aston Villa ran out 1-0 winners at Villa Park.
Lewis Grabban’s first-half header was enough to earn Steve Bruce’s side all three points as they managed to continue their fight for automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
As for Leeds, it was yet more misery for manager Paul Heckingbottom, who has now overseen just two wins in 13 Championship fixtures since replacing Thomas Christiansen in the Elland Road hotseat.
Villa controlled the game from start to finish on Friday night with a clear lack of connectivity between the Leeds midfield and attack.
Even the in-form Pablo Hernandez was unable to continue his impressive run as he was completely isolated on the wing with Samuel Saiz sitting on the bench.
