Going into the summer window, Tottenham’s weaklink is definitely their midfield and Pochettino must work with Daniel Levy to strengthen that area of the squad.
One midfielder that Spurs should be looking at signing is Newcastle’s Jonjo Shelvey, who played a blinder at Wembley on Wednesday night and there’s every chance that he would be available in the summer given the low funds available for Benitez.
Shelvey’s performances this season have been terrific and he could be on the plane to Russia with the England World Cup squad.
The ex-Liverpool and Swansea man would be a quality addition for Pochettino.
