After two full seasons at Tottenham, it’s as clear as day that Sissoko is not good enough and Pochettino must look to bin the 28-year-old in the summer transfer window.
The ex-Newcastle player had something to prove against his former club on Wednesday, but he was just absolutely awful and showed nowhere near the quality that would be expected of a top-six player.
Sissoko cost Spurs £30million in 2016, and even if it means letting him go for less, Pochettino has to get rid of him.
The Daily Star reports that the midfielder earns £95,000-a-week in North London, so getting him of the wagebill would also be a massive boost for Spurs’ summer business.
