Below-par duo prove Rodgers right: Three things learned about Celtic in win v Hamilton

COMMENT

Celtic remain five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership following a relatively routine 3-1 win over Hamilton on Wednesday night.

Brendan Rodgers changed Celtic’s personnel, bringing in Kristoffer Ajer, Nir Bitton and Stuart Armstrong, and changed the formation to a 3-4-3.

The Hoops took the lead early on thanks to Olivier Ntcham, before Redmond equalised against the run of play.

The Celts then killed the game off thanks to two goals in a minute just before half-time, James Forrest and Scott Sinclair with two fine goals.

The second-half was quite flat, with Hamilton coming as close as Celtic did to scoring as they hit the post, but the Hoops held out to make it 69 domestic games without defeat.
