WBA’s opening goal came in the third minute of the game and fans didn’t get a reaction from Spurs until the second half. By that point it was tough to see them winning the game. If Spurs really want to be considered a threat this season they need to be able to get out of cruise control quicker, especially when they find themselves a goal down. While the early goal was a shock, players have to step up and react. Tottenham are lucky Harry Kane is so clinical otherwise they could have left Wembley with nothing.
