Poch must axe one, bring one in from cold: Three things we learned from Tottenham win v Stoke

Son Heung-min should start every week

Harry Kane may have scored two goals but Son Heung-min ran the show for Spurs at Wembley on Saturday afternoon. The 25-year-old South Korean was a persistent threat to the Stoke defenders and got the goal his man-of-the-match performance deserved after half-time with a brilliant finish. He got a great reception for the Tottenham fans when he was substituted in the 86th minute and proved yet again that he will be a crucial player for manager Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs fight to finish in the top-four. He hasn’t started too many Premier League games this season but has showed on numerous occasions that he is more than good enough to. Poch must bring him in from the cold and he simply has to start for Spurs against Brighton on Wednesday.
