Leeds United managed to battle their way to a 2-1 victory over Burton Albion on Boxing Day thanks to goals from Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe.
The Whites started the brighter of the two sides but found themselves behind after half an hour, Tom Naylor poking home from close range after a driven cross from Lucas Akins, although there were suggestions the goalscorer netted from an offside position.
However, despite going into half time behind, Thomas Christiansen’s side managed to turn the game around and secure the three points in the second half, Hernandez’s excellent free kick levelling the scores before Kemar Roofe scored the winner.
Leeds had come into the clash off the back of some impressive form, with three wins on the bounce and an unbeaten streak of five games, most recently seeing off Hull City with a narrow 1-0 win at Elland Road.
Burton meanwhile came into the tie off the back of a 2-1 victory away to Reading, which was their second consecutive win after picking up three points away at Bolton Wanderers.
So what can the Leeds fans take away from the clash?
