Newcastle United managed to end their four match losing streak after coming from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw away at West Brom on Tuesday.

The Magpies were coming into the midweek clash off the back of a terrible run of results against Burnley, Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Watford, while the Baggies had picked up a 1-1 draw against high flying Tottenham in their last outing.

It looked as though the home side would be extending Newcastle’s unwanted form as they took a 1-0 lead into half time, before doubling their lead in the second 45 minutes.

However Matt Ritchie inspired the Magpies to crawl back and take a point back to the north east, setting up a Ciaran Clark header from a corner before ricocheting a free kick off two West Brom defenders and past Ben Foster between the sticks.

So what can fans take away from the fightback at the Hawthorns?
