24-yr-old must be omitted for next game: Three things learned about Rangers in win v Hearts
Rangers eased to a 2-0 win over Hearts on Saturday afternoon as Graeme Murty’s side closed to six points off Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic.
The Gers were in control for long spells against Craig Levein’s side as goals from Jamie Murphy and Russell Martin secured a win for the Ibrox giants.
Murty’s side attacked with real intent and looked determined to kill the game off after Murphy’s third goal in three games gave them the lead just before the break.
After being so far behind Old Firm rivals Celtic earlier in the season, the Gers have had a remarkable turnaround in the last few months to help them overtake Aberdeen and jump into second-place.
Murty will have been delighted with the way his side pushed Hearts back for long spells but will definitely have come away from the win with some questions for his side.
