This man indispensable to Spurs: Three things learned from Tottenham win v Liverpool
COMMENT by Russell Edge
Tottenham have gone level with second placed Manchester United in the Premier League table after thrashing Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley on Sunday
A double from Harry Kane and strikes from Heung-min Son and Dele Alli saw the Reds swept aside as Spurs demonstrated their dominance, and even a goal from Mohamed Salah was not enough to dent spirits in the capital.
It was a dominant display from Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who put Liverpool to the sword and net after just four minutes thanks to Kane, slotting home after a long ball over the top from Kieran Trippier.
They remain third in the table, five points behind league leaders Manchester City and behind Jose Mourinho’s United on just goal difference.
So what can fans take away from Tottenham’s clash with Jurgen Klopp’s side?
