Rangers came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday but the Light Blues will have come away with far more question than they have answers after a Jekyll and Hyde performance.

After an atrocious opening 45 minutes, the Gers blasted back with two early second-half goals to draw level before looking for a third to secure three points and maintain their 100% record away from home in 2018.

Goals from James Tavernier and Jamie Murphy rescued a point for Graeme Murty’s side as they extended their unbeaten run at Fir Park but will be disappointed to only come away with a share of the spoils.

The Gers now face Dundee before heading to Hampden to take on bitter rivals Celtic in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and the Ibrox giants will be keen to get back to winning ways after three games without a win.

Despite a much better performance in the second-half of the clash with Well, it simply wasn’t good enough from the Gers who have slipped back into the same bad habits that were costing them silly points before the winter break.
