Mark Allen needs one more piece in Ibrox puzzle: Three things learned from Rangers win v Ross County
Rangers returned to second in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 win over Ross County in Dingwall on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers went 2-0 up through goals from Daniel Candeias and a first-ever Rangers goal for Jason Cummings before County pulled one back in the final few minutes from the penalty spot.
Graeme Murty’s side dominated the first-half and denied County even a shot at goal in the opening 45 but allowed their hosts much more of the ball in the second-half.
After an inconsistent first-half of the season, the Gers will be hoping to build on their winning start to 2018 as they try to secure second in the table and close the gap on league leaders Celtic.
The Gers now face a return trip to the Highlands on Wednesday night to face Highland League minnows Fraserburgh in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
