Interim Rangers boss Graeme Murty was constantly – and calmly – driving his players on and re-assuring them of their responsibilities as they looked for a way back into the game.
In the opposite technical area, Owen Coyle looked like a man on the brink of a heart attack as he screamed, bawled and roared at his players from the first whistle through to the very last.
While each will no doubt have their benefits and flaws, it made for an curious comparison as their sides played out their game-plans.
