The South Korean striker has become a favourite of Spurs fans with his enthusiastic performances on the pitch, but it should not hide the fact he has lacked an end product this season.
In seven appearances he is yet to score, with just one assist to his name, and his inability to finish off chances, despite finding himself in the final third more often than not, is hurting the side.
It is a far cry from the man who scored 21 goals last season.
He is lucky that Harry Kane is in such prolific form, while the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen take charge of providing the assists, but after Tuesday’s performance, it is time for change.
