As for Gvardiol, he returned to training for Man City earlier last week after not featuring in the first three games.

Gvardiol was in high spirits on Instagram after making a return to the line-up following his injury and said “Manchester is blue!”
His teammates shared a reaction with Reijnders, commenting with “Brate” with a fire emoji. Ruben Dias, Omar Marmoush and former players Jack Grealish and Ederson also reacted by liking the post.
Pep Guardiola’s side have faced numerous injuries since the start of the season, with John Stones recovering from a muscle strain, Mateo Kovacic suffering a calf injury and Rayan Cherki out for several weeks with a thigh problem.
However, the Croatian’s return is a welcome boost as Gvardiol was a standout performer in defence for the club last term, despite a frustrating season for the club overall.
Now, he’s back in the line-up with an impressive performance alongside Ruben Dias, as the side now prepares for a busy few weeks.

Man City face Man United competition for Denzel Dumfries
Meanwhile, the City hierarchy are continuing to look ahead for improvements in defence, with the side targeting Denzel Dumfries as a potential right-back addition.
