Now, his position is being questioned by fans. His summer spending, which surpassed £100m on signings like Niclas Fullkrug and Crysencio Summerville, has yet to yield results. If Guilherme is sold at a loss, it would only intensify the criticism aimed at him.
One fan stated that Steidten “should never have a job in football ever again” while another demanded he “needs to be sacked today”.
Another supporter suggested that if the club can recoup the £25 million spent on Guilherme, they should go ahead with the deal, but to “send Tim with him.”
