‘Time is up’ for Ndombele at Tottenham as swap deal now on the cards – pundit
Tanguy Ndombele’s time at Tottenham is up, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Man City and England full-back claimed Antonio Conte “does not fancy” Ndombele as he may be set to leave on loan.
The Daily Mail reported today (23 January) Spurs remain in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a temporary deal and the midfielder is keen on the move.

It is claimed Tottenham rejected PSG’s proposal to include Leandro Paredes as part of the deal but former Liverpool star Georginio Wijnaldum could come into negotiations.
A move to the French capital would see Ndombele reunited with Mauricio Pochettino who signed for at Tottenham for a club-record fee of £55.45million back in the summer of 2019.
However, the 25-year-old has failed to establish himself under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirto Santo and Conte.
He has started just one Premier League came under the Italian and has not been included a matchday squad since the 3-1 win over Morecambe in the FA Cup earlier this month (9 January).
Asked whether a loan move could signal the beginning of the end for Ndombele’s Spurs career, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Definitely.
“If a manager doesn’t fancy you and you’re a senior player that they are willing to let go out on loan, your time is up.
“It’s time to move on and you have to accept that. It’s not nice but it’s the way of the world and the way football works.”

Ndombele has 10 goals and nine assists in 91 games across all competitions for Spurs.
He is under contract in north London until the summer of 2025.
