Time's up or more to come? Rangers attacker needs to get his finger out
COMMENT By James Black
Josh Windass is a divisive figure among Rangers fans.
Some think the former Accrington attacker has far more to offer the Ibrox giants while may others believe he has had more than enough chances to prove himself.
However, in the last two games Windass has scored two goals and will surely get a confidence boost from his recent purple patch.
Windass has struggled to influence games anywhere near as often as he should but does show flashes of quality – which is arguably what leaves fans so frustrated.
The strikes against Hearts and Partick Thistle have both been really well taken by the 23-year-old who seems to benefit from the way Graeme Murty sets his side up.

With a new manager likely to come in before too long, Windass will need to offer more than just goals if he is to remain part of the starting XI.
Too often he disappears from games for long spells and can then leave the Ibrox side’s left-back under more pressure as Windass shirks his defensive responsibilities.
If he can figure out how to take control of matches and make a real impact down the left-hand side, Windass could prove to be a real asset to Rangers but times is quickly running out for him to do so.
In other Rangers news, an Ibrox legend was delighted to see Kenny Miller back in the starting XI.
