Tom Brady was recently spotted in same room as contender to be next Birmingham City manager
Tom Brady may have already dropped a huge hint regarding who could become the next Birmingham City manager.
The Blues have seen their campaign falter in recent weeks, with a run of three games without a win leaving them sitting 13th in the Championship table.
Pressure is mounting on Chris Davies at Birmingham, given the lofty aspirations that their ambitious owners have for the club in the coming years.
The second city outfit have dreams of becoming a Premier League side as quickly as possible, and Brady has already been seen with the man who could become the next boss to be tasked with fulfilling that desire.

Tom Brady seen at World Cup draw with Jesse Marsch
Lee Carsley is the early favourite to take over at Birmingham, with the England U21 boss potentially preparing to take his first steps in club management.
Should Davies lose his job in the coming weeks, there will be no shortage of potential suitors who would be willing to take the reins of a club with the Blues’ level of resources.
They have been transformed as a club under the guidance of Tom Wagner and Co., and minority owner Brady may have dropped a huge hint over Birmingham’s next potential manager.
The NFL legend was seen at the recent draw for the 2026 World Cup, with former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch also in attendance that evening.
The 52-year-old is preparing to lead joint-hosts Canada at next summer’s tournament, but could also be set for an imminent return to club management at St Andrew’s.
Marsch is currently an outside candidate to step into Davies’ shoes, with odds of 10/1 currently making him the fourth favourite, but the likes of Carsley, Gary O’Neil and Michael Carrick all boast stronger odds.
Jesse Marsch’s record in English football
Wagner wants Birmingham to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season, despite their inconsistency in the early stages of the campaign.
With that in mind, Marsch is perhaps something of a surprise candidate to step into the dugout, given the struggles that he has previously endured in English football.
| Games | W | D | L | Win % |
| 37 | 11 | 10 | 16 | 32.35% |
The ex-RB Leipzig boss joined Leeds in February 2022 with the Whites sitting 16th in the Premier League, but was sacked just under a year into the job, with his team hovering precariously above the drop zone in the following campaign.
His time at Elland Road ended with a win percentage of just 32.35 per cent, which doesn’t bode particularly well for Birmingham, who would be demanding almost immediate positive results.
Marsch has no other experience of coaching in the English game, and as a result, it would likely be seen as a major risk if Birmingham were to appoint him.
