Tom Rogic: Pundit issues ‘huge’ Celtic title claim as Rangers race heats up
Frank McAvennie insists Tom Rogic can play a huge role as Celtic continue to challenge for the Premiership title.
That’s according to former Hoops hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Australian’s impressive form.
Rogic, 29, scored twice as Celtic beat Motherwell 4-0 on Sunday (6 February).

The midfielder returned to the side after missing the Hoops’ last three games due to international duty.
Rogic has been in prolific form through the winter, scoring four goals and four assists in his last seven league games.
McAvennie insists the midfielder’s availability is a “huge” factor in the Premiership title race.
“It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Rogic,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I wanted him to play more over the last few seasons and when he has been at it this season, we have been at our best.
“He’s been at another level this season. It’s been annoying how often he’s been injured or unavailable.
“If we can keep him fit for the rest of the season then that’s huge for our title chances.
“He’s another quality option in that midfield. The good thing is that we can win without Rogic.
“But having him available just gives us that extra edge. He loves scoring goals and we don’t really have another midfielder like that, other than Hatate”.

Celtic are next in action against Hibs on Wednesday (3 February).
They remain top of the Premiership.
In other news, Paddy Kenny “wowed” by Reo Hatate and makes “absolutely brilliant” Celtic claim.
