Tony Cascarino: Tottenham first teamer had a sticky patch at the start of the season

Tony Cascarino claimed that Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen has managed to recover from a poor start of the season.
The 25-year-old has been a crucial player for Spurs this campaign and is helping them compete for the Premier League title, with his side trailing leaders Chelsea by four points.
He has been a key figure for the north London club and thrived alongside attackers Heung-Min Son, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
Eriksen has made 43 appearances so far this season across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and supplying 20 assists in return.
Cascarino has hailed the qualities of the attacking midfielder, but feels he found it difficult at the start of the season.

“(Eriksen) had a sticky patch at the start of the season but has recovered,” Cascarino wrote in the Times. “A clever player who sees things early.”
Eriksen’s contributions appear to have increased since the beginning of 2017 and he has chipped in with of his 13 of his assists this year.
The Denmark international proved extremely effective in Spurs’ FA Cup semi-final run, but was unable to prevent their 4-2 defeat to Chelsea in the semi-final.
He is considered by many as the unsung hero of the Spurs dressing room, with teammates Kane and Alli often in the spotlight.
Eriksen has now racked up 174 appearances since his move to White Hart Lane and is enjoying his best season to date.
