Tony Cottee talks about West Ham rivalry with Tottenham, compares them with Millwall

Tony Cottee believes West Ham’s main rivalry is with Tottenham, but when they are in the Championship it is with Millwall.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team are set to travel to the London Stadium on Friday night for a crucial Premier League clash.
Both teams will be looking to win the bragging rights for their fans in what is expected to be a highly fought contest.
Arsenal and Chelsea are the other two main London clubs in the top tier of English football, with the latter currently on course to be crowned champions.
Speaking to the Premier League Daily Show, which aired on Sky Sports News on Friday morning, Cottee compared West Ham’s rivalry with Spurs and Millwall.

“If West Ham are in the top division their rivalry is with Spurs, it is not so much with Chelsea or Arsenal, it is definitely with Spurs,” Cottee told Sky Sports.
“If they are in the Championship then their rivalry is normally at Millwall. It’s a historic rivalry.”
Both teams last met in November at White Hart Lane, with striker Harry Kane netting a brace late on to seal a dramatic win.
Slaven Bilic’s side, who have been struggling for the majority of the campaign, were winning the match heading into the final few minutes.
But Kane scored from the penalty spot and scored the winner three minutes into added on time to send the home fans wild.
The England international will be looking to continue his good form following his goal against Arsenal last Sunday.
Spurs beat their north London neighbours Arsenal 2-0, with attacking midfielder Alli and Kane getting on the scoresheet.
