There was serious talk of Wanderers bottling their automatic promotion bid in February and early March.
Before welcoming Reading to Molineux, Nuno’s men had won just won of their last four league games and were battered 4-1 by Aston Villa in their last outing.
However Wolves responded emphatically with Matt Docherty scoring a brace while Benik Afobe also got on the scoresheet.
In the seven games since, Wolves are unbeaten and have dropped just two points.
