La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Tottenham ace Dele Alli, according to a report.
Spanish publication Sport claims that the Catalan club see the 21-year-old as the perfect alternative should they fail to sign Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
The newspaper reports that the attacking midfielder could be worth around £133million which is the amount of money which Barcelona have saved in order to strengthen their midfield.
This is not the first time that the La Liga giants have been linked with the England international as the Mirror reported that Barcelona were considering him as a option to replace Neymar in the summer.
The report claims that Barcelona are not the only club monitoring the youngster’s situation at Spurs with Champions League winners Real Madrid and Manchester United also in the hunt for his signature.

Alli enjoyed his best campaign in terms of numbers last season, notching up a total of 22 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions for Spurs.
Tottenham have not finished outside of the top-three since the midfielder joined the club two years ago.
The England international currently has five years remaining on his contract with the Premier League side.

It is no surprise to see that some of the biggest clubs in world football are looking to sign Alli following his incredible progression over such a short period of time. He is now considered to be one of Tottenham’s most important assets at just 21 and he has the potential to become one of the finest players of his generation. Spurs must do everything within their power to keep him at the club in order to remain title challengers for the next couple of years. Even in this climate,£133million is a lot of money but don’t be stunned if Barcelona table this offer next summer and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is still looking to receive even more.
