Tosin Adarabioyo sends message to fans after Chelsea first in Wolves win
Chelsea defender has posted a message on social media to the fans after their victory over Wolves.
The former Fulham defender played the full match in a 3-1 win over Wolves (20 January), scoring his first Premier League goal for the club.
That goal from Adarabioyo opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and Chelsea were pegged back moments before half-time as Matt Doherty poked the ball home following a dropped-cross by Robert Sanchez.
The Blues regained their lead in the 60th minute as Noni Madueke fizzed a cross into Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who flicked the ball into the path of Marc Cucurella for a simple tap-in.
Chelsea confirmed their victory in the 65th minute as Madueke got on the end of a Trevoh Chalobah header to poke home.
Tosin Adarabioyo amongst the goals again for Chelsea
Adarabioyo has now scored three goals in his last two starts for Chelsea, having scored twice in the FA Cup against Morecambe on 11 January.
The former Man City academy graduate is a popular figure in the Chelsea dressing room and will have been delighted to get on the scoresheet against Wolves.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, has relied on Adarabioyo to be a leader in his young dressing room, describing him as “the one that is most vocal.” [The Standard]
Posting on Instagram after the game, Adarabioyo said: “First Premier League goal for the club! We’re grateful for the support Blues. UP THE CHELS!”

Chelsea will be hoping that Adarabioyo can keep up his good form, with uncertainty currently surrounding their January move for Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.
The Blues will face Man City in their next match (25 January), as they travel to Manchester in a game that could end any title hopes the West London side have.
