'I want to win trophies' – Everton January signing sets sights on silverware

Cenk Tosun has hailed Everton’s capture of Arsenal forward Theo Walcott and expressed his desire to win trophies with the club.
The Toffees announced earlier today that they had signed the 28-year-old Gunners winger for a fee of £20m on a three and a half year contract and the former Besiktas forward said that it was a ‘massive signing’ for the Merseysiders.
Turkish striker, Tosun, was signed earlier in the window and will now be able to look forward to playing in a more attacking line-up consisting of Wayne Rooney, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott.
“Theo is a great player, proven in the Premier League – he has done well at Arsenal for many years,” said Tosun in the Daily Mail.
“I would say that he will be a massive signing for us.
“I think I will link up well with him. We have talented players in our team and I am sure we can have a great input.
“The main aim is to take the team to a better place, to score as many goals as I can. This year looks a little difficult but in the future I want to win trophies and be part of that for the club.”
Sam Allardyce has faced widespread criticism from supporters of the club regarding his so-called negative tactics and the idea that he continually plays players out of position.
Everton’s two new signings could feature for the Toffees this weekend in an important fixture against Premier League strugglers West Bromwich Albion.
