'Total idiot', 'Backstabbing' - Celtic fans fury over rival manager's latest comments
Celtic fans on social media have hammered Hearts manager Craig Levein as he continued his war of words with Hoops captain Scott Brown.
The Tynecastle boss claimed, as reported by BBC Sport, that Brown had got himself booked against Kilmarnock so he wouldn’t miss next month’s Old Firm derby through suspension.
This followed up comments made by Levein where he claimed that players ‘needed protection‘ from Brown, which Brown believed lead to his caution against Kilmarnock.
Unsurprisingly these comments haven’t gone down well with Hoops supporters, who have rushed to their captain’s defence and heavily criticised Levein.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Levein’s comments:
Is Craig Levein greetin’ again ????????????✊????????

Brown is set to feature in two big cup matches for the Hoops, as they attempt to bounce back from the 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock last week.
They continue their defence of the Scottish Cup with a home tie against Partick Thistle on Saturday, before attention turns to Europe and the first leg of the last 32 Europa League clash against Zenit at Celtic Park on Thursday.
The Hoops captain may well use Levein’s comments as motivation to turn in huge performances in the games, which may well be defining for the rest of the Hoops season.
