Toti Gomes reacts to Wolves’ transfer announcement
Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has lost a key player ahead of the new campaign in another blow for The Old Gold.
Periera has already had to deal with the departures of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United and Manchester City.
It comes following a difficult 2024/25 campaign for Wolves where Pereira’s arrival last December instigated a rise above the relegation zone.
The club were struggling under former boss Gary O’Neil with Wolves 19th in the table, but under Pereira’s guidance they finished 16th at the end of the season.

Wolves share farewell message
Taking to Instagram, Wolves issued a “good luck” message to right-back Nelson Semedo who has left Molineux following the expiry of his contract, which was liked by former team mate Toti Gomes.
Semedo spent five seasons at the club after joining Wolves from Barcelona in 2020, going on to make over 180 appearances.
Wolves are now in the market for a new right-back with Semendo now potentially heading to Turkish club Galatasaray.

With plenty of summer business still to do, Pereira needs to make signing a right-back one of his key priorities.
Other Premier League club’s though are also chasing the same position including Everton and Manchester City.
Wolves need to tighten up defensively after shipping 69 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, which contributed to them being in a relegation fight for most of the campaign.
Pereira has so far not signed any new defensive additions despite also losing experienced centre-back Craig Dawson.
