Tottenham loanee Luke McGee has been named as Peterborough’s Players’ Player of the season.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form in his temporary spell with the Posh and has been named by his peers as the club’s best performer throughout the campaign.
Peterborough announced the news on their official Twitter account during their end of season award ceremony on Wednesday night.
“The Players’ Player of the Season goes to Luke McGee,” said the tweet.

McGee started the season on the Spurs first-team bench against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
The goalkeeper was then sent on a season-long loan to Peterborough, where he has made 44 appearances across all competitions, conceding 59 goals and keeping 10 clean sheets.
The shot-stopper is yet to make an appearance for the Spurs first-team and his loan move to London Road is the first time he has played senior competitive football in his career.
However it has given him some invaluable experience which will no doubt aid his progression.
Peterborough are currently 11th in League One and have one game to play before the season ends against Bolton on Sunday.
McGee isn’t the only young Tottenham player to pick up an award this season as Dele Alli was recently named as the PFA’s young player of the year for his mesmeric displays over the course of the campaign.
In other Tottenham news, fans have destroyed Alexis Sanchez for his antics in Arsenal’s win over Leicester.
