Tottenham ace James Maddison sends message to Guglielmo Vicario after update
Tottenham star James Maddison has taken to social media to show his support for teammate Guglielmo Vicario after his recent injury.
The 28-year-old underwent surgery after fracturing his ankle in Spurs’ 4-0 Premier League win over champions Man City on Saturday (November 23).
Despite picking up the injury mid-game, Vicario went on to play the full 90 minutes for Ange Postecoglu’s side, making three second-half saves.
It remains unclear when the goalkeeper will return to action, with the club saying on X, formally known as Twitter, that he will be assessed by their medical team.
Tottenham will be without six first-team players for their Europa League game against Roma on Thursday (November 28), with Vicario joining Cristain Romero, Mikey van de Ven, Richarlison, Mikey Moore, and Wilson Odobert on the injury list.

Maddison, 28, was the star of the show in the win over Man City, scoring a brace to secure a memorable win on his birthday.
After his impressive display, the attacking midfielder took to Instagram to show support for his teammate by responding to his post.

Tottenham’s attention will turn back to the Premier League after their European clash with Roma as they host Fulham on Sunday (December 1).
