Tottenham ace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is ‘unhappy’ and wants to leave – sources
Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is expected to leave the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the player is “unhappy” with his lack of playing time under Ange Postecoglou.
He added that the 28-year-old is now finally set to leave North London having been linked with an exit for some time.
The Denmark international, who joined Spurs from Southampton in August 2020, has made 179 appearances for the club.

Sources told Football Insider last month that Spurs plan to accept an offer for the midfielder, with a willingness from both parties to part ways in the summer.
Postecoglou has more often than not opted for Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma in midfield, with the Dane constantly having to settle for a place on the bench.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Oliver Skipp are also fighting for midfield roles as Spurs look to qualify for the Champions League.
Hojbjerg remains a key first-team player and, despite his minutes on the pitch being limited this season in comparison to other campaigns, has still made 34 appearances in all competitions, including 31 in the Premier League.

Sources told Football Insider in February that he is not expected to be at the club next season, with Spurs having been willing to let the midfield man leave last summer and in January, but a permanent exit was wanted as opposed to a loan move.
