‘Tottenham are cursed’ after confirmed Radu Dragusin news – fans gutted

Tottenham fans have expressed their frustration after the club confirmed that Radu Dragusin has suffered an ACL injury.

Spurs revealed that the 23-year-old will be assessed by the medical team to determine when he will be able to return to training as he is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

The Romania international will now miss the rest of the season in a significant blow to Ange Postecoglou, as the defender has started 21 of Tottenham’s past 23 matches.

Dragusin has joined a growing list of injured players at the club with Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero, and Dominic Solanke all out of action at the moment.

Dragusin is set to miss at least six months of football, although ACL injuries have the potential to keep a player out of action for up to a year.

The defender joined Spurs in the 2024 January transfer window from Genoa in a deal worth £25million.
