Tottenham backed to wrap up Pedro Porro deal ‘very quickly’ after ‘insane’ development – pundit
Tottenham could wrap up a deal for Pedro Porro “very quickly” to arrest concerns over their attack.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Spurs’ lack of attacking options.
Portuguese outlet CM Journal (23 December) claim Tottenham are ‘determined’ to sign the former Manchester City man.

The 23-year-old winger, whose contract in Lisbon runs until the end of June 2025, is said to be valued at £26million by the Portuguese club.
Of Tottenham’s nine named substitutes against Aston Villa (1 January), one was a goalkeeper, six were defenders and two were midfielders, a development Tottenham expert John Wenham told this site was “insane”.
McManus is backing Spurs to fast-track a deal for the winger as a result of the lack of depth in attack.
“Yeah, this name won’t go away,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He seems to be the one they really want and if you look at that bench, there are no attackers on it. That’s something that needs to be addressed immediately.
“There is no one who can change a game. I get what people are saying about putting an academy striker in there but that won’t help in a Premier League game nine times out of ten.
“I think this is something the club will look to fix as soon as possible because Richarlison is out for god knows how long and Kulusevski is out again.
“They are one more injury away from not being able to put an attack out so I would think they’ll look to wrap up a deal very quickly.”

Tottenham are next in action against Portsmouth on Saturday (7 January).
They then return to league action against Arsenal on 15 January,
