Pochettino experiments – Three things to expect from Tottenham clash v Barnsley
New boys to star
Despite arriving on deadline day from Swansea, Fernando Llorente is yet to make his first start for Spurs, having come back from a broken arm.
Expect that to change on Tuesday.
Llorente will likely take the place of Harry Kane in the starting XI, and he can be expecting to line up next to his fellow new boys Davinson Sanchez and Serge Aurier as Pochettino continues to integrate them into the first team.
Sanchez started against both Dortmund and Swansea, while Aurier appeared as a substitute against the Welsh side having impressed in the Champions League tie.
Fans may also get a first sighting of 19-year-old centre back Juan Foyth following his summer move from Estudiantes, with the youngster named on the bench for both of Spurs’ last two games.
