Tottenham manger Mauricio Pochettino must axe Heung-min Son if he wants to field his best possible team against Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday.
Son, 25, is a clear fan favourite among the Spurs faithful, but the South Korea international’s performances against other top six sides this season have not been good enough and he should be replaced by the rarely-seen Lucas Moura, who has a massive point to prove after making just two league appearances since signing from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Kieran Trippier should also come in at right-back to replace Serge Aurier if he is fit enough while Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama should also drop out with Ben Davies and Eric Dier returning to the starting line-up after missing the win over Stoke last week.
Hugo Lloris must start in goal behind a back four of Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Davies.
Dier should partner Mousa Dembele in the deeper-lying midfield areas with Waynama dropping to the bench.
Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli must keep their spots in the attacking midfield areas with Lucas earning his first Premier League start on the right-hand side over Son and Erik Lamela.
Harry Kane should without doubt start up front as he hunts down Mohamed Salah in the race to win the golden boot.
In other Tottenham news, negotiations have begun over this powerhouse forward wanted by Spurs.
