Tottenham ‘confident’ on Thomas Frank after sack calls
Tottenham remain confident that Thomas Frank is the right man for the job despite turbulent results in the last few games.
Tottenham fans have been frustrated with Frank’s lack of goals in recent games, prompting doubts over whether he is the right manager to lead the club forward from the Ange Postecoglou rollercoaster.
The Lilywhites enjoyed a strong start to the 2025-26 campaign yet, mounting problems such as Randal Kolo Muani’s injury have diminished morale in camp.
Juggling the demands of the Champions League as well as the high expectations from the Spurs fans to be near the top of the table, questions are being asked of the Dane whether he has jumped to a big club too soon in his managerial career.

Tottenham ‘confident’ in Frank with patience demanded from fans
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Spurs board are in no doubt the ex-Brentford boss has what it takes to take the team to the next level.
Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier exclusively told Football Insider that Tottenham need to change their attacking style to appease fans, something which Frank has been scrutinised for.
However, patience is needed, especially considering the monumental task of altering Postecoglou’s chaotic football for the Dane’s more pragmatic approach.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “There’s no panic I think from within Tottenham on what’s happening now.
“They’re still confident that Thomas Frank is the man for them and the fans might just have to be patient because Frank’s still working at the best, probably set up for his own side as well at Tottenham.
“So things could be a lot worse than fifth in the table and still competing in the Champions League. It can’t be that hard to be a Spurs fan right now, surely.”
Ivan Toney and Frank reunion to lead to resolve goalscoring issues
Perhaps one of the ways the Danish boss can instil greater stability and consistency in his attacking play is by working with former players from his time at Brentford.

Sources told Football Insider that Tottenham remain interested in Ivan Toney.
The Englishman worked under Frank with the Bees and became a crucial asset in west London which helped guide them to Premier League safety year-on-year.
Tottenham would need to sell one of Dominic Solanke or Richarlison to fund the move for Toney, yet a possible reunion could lead to fruitful returns for both player and manager.
