Tottenham confident they will land £30m-rated PL ace loved by Pochettino this summer - report

Tottenham are confident that Crystal Palace will allow winger Wilfred Zaha to move to White Hart Lane in the summer, according to a reliable journalist.
Mirror claim that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of the 24-year-old and they are confident they will land the £30-million rated player despite interest from overseas.
Ivory Coast international Zaha has been in impressive form for the Eagles this season despite their relegation fears.
It is said that Spurs had a £12million bid for Zaha rejected last summer and Palace stood firm once again in January when the north London club made fresh enquiries.
However, it is suggested that the Champions League chasers now have the belief that their London rivals may now sell their player in the summer.

But, Palace boss Sam Allardyce is more keen on cashing in on former Spurs winger Andros Townsend than his Premier League ace.
Zaha scored during his last game for Allardyce’s side as they climbed out of the relegation zone to beat West Brom.
From 24 appearances this season, he has scored five goals and supplied eight assists for a team that is currently one place above the drop zone.
It is also said that Zaha is on £40,000-a-week at Selhurst Park with his contract due to expire in 2020, but the appeal of possibly playing Champions League football and a pay rise could interest him.
Football Insider verdict:
Last season this would have been a bad move by Tottenham simply because Zaha had failed to show consistency on the pitch. However, with age, he has vastly improved this season and is now worth the punt. At this moment in time, Spurs don’t have a player who could regularly play on the right wing so Zaha would fit in straight away. Furthermore, working under Pochettino will help him greatly as Dele Alli, Danny Rose, Harry Kane and Kyle Walker have proven. The price tag may be frowned upon, but like the majority of players in today’s game, all transfer prices are going through the roof.
