Tottenham confirmed line-up v Southampton: 29-year-old returns in four changes
By Matt Farr
Mauricio Pochettino has made four changes to his Tottenham side for their meeting with Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
Talisman Harry Kane is the most notable absentee for the home side, and is replaced by Christian Eriksen after the England striker was ruled out with an ankle injury.
Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker and 29-year-old midfielder Mousa Dembele also return to the starting eleven at the expense of Michel Vorm, Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks, following the thumping 6-o win over Millwall in the FA Cup sixth round a week ago.
Tottenham announced their confirmed line-up on their official club Twitter account prior to kick-off.

Son Heung-Min is tasked with leading the line in Kane’s absence, having netted a superb hat-trick against Millwall.

But that means Vincent Janssen, who was also in contention to replace Kane, remains on the Tottenham bench.
Seven players retain their places in the starting eleven, including the in-form Dele Alli, who has three goals and two assists from his last three appearances.
With just six points separating second-placed Tottenham from seventh-placed Everton, Mauricio Pochettino will be seeking all three points from their visit from Southampton.
A win would not only fire them back to within 10 points of Premier League leaders Chelsea, but it would also extend their advantage over Manchester City to three points.
Defeat, on the other hand, would not effect Tottenham’s current league position, but it would waste a precious opportunity to lay down an advantage in the race to finish in the top four.
However, Tottenham are in excellent form after winning their last two Premier League outings, scoring seven goals and conceding just twice.
