‘Tottenham could agree £10m Andoni Iraola deal’
Tottenham could make a move to appoint Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola as their next manager following their disappointing campaign.
Spurs currently sit 14th in the Premier League table after suffering defeat in 15 of their 29 matches this season.
Ange Postecoglou has faced sack pressure throughout the campaign, but he could still deliver the club’s first trophy in 17 years if they manage to win the Europa League.
The north London giants are set to take on Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for a place in the semi-finals of the competition next month.
Recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Iraola is Tottenham’s top target to replace Postecoglou if he’s sacked this summer.
The Spanish manager has been widely praised for his work at Bournemouth since taking over in June 2023, with his side sitting 10th in the table but only five points behind fourth-place Chelsea.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Spurs would likely have to pay between £5-10million to appoint Iraola.
The 42-year-old, who spent the majority of his playing career at Athletic Bilbao, has also managed AEK Larnaca, Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano before joining Bournemouth two years ago.

Tottenham could agree £1m a year Andoni Iraol deal
Borson revealed appointing Iraola could only cost Tottenham £1million a year if they amortise the compensation over five years.
He told Football Insider: “I suspect it’s one of the now norm £5-10million in compensation.
“It’s kind of lost in the rounding of the overall cost of changing manager. It’s expensive business, but compared to signing players, it’s not that significant.
“We have seen some clubs amortise it in the way that they have transfer fees as well by capitalising it and, therefore, spreading it over five years on the balance sheet.
“If it’s £5million, it’s then only £1million on amortisation. There is a cash hit, but I don’t think it’s going to get in the way.
“I don’t think it’s a surprise that he’s the number one or number two target.
“It feels like a very likely story.”

Tottenham close in on Angel Gomes deal
Football Insider revealed on 28 March Tottenham are leading the race to sign Angel Gomes this summer.
However, they have been joined by clubs from France, Spain and Germany in their efforts to convince the 24-year-old to make the move to north London.

The midfielder’s impressive displays for Lille and England this season have made him one of the most sought-after talents in Europe, with his contract set to expire on 30 June.
Gomes has already turned down a contract offer from West Ham, who are not expected to return with a new proposal as things stand.
