‘Tottenham could pay amazing fee to finalise Andoni Iraola deal’
Andoni Iraola is a top target for Tottenham, who are considering replacing under-pressure boss Ange Postecoglou at the end of this season.
Bournemouth’s Iraola, Fulham boss Marco Silva and Brentford manager Thomas Frank have all been linked with a potential move to Spurs.
However, Football Insider revealed on Monday (31 March) that Tottenham are also scouring the overseas market as they explore every possible option.
Iraola, 42, is under contract with Bournemouth until June 2026 after taking charge on the south coast two years ago.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has suggested what it would cost to bring the impressive Spanish boss to Tottenham.

Tottenham could pay near-£10m fee to land Iraola
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness claimed Spurs face paying almost £10million to land Iraola.
His Bournemouth side sit 10th in the Premier League and are competing for European qualification this term.
Wyness has insisted he is “amazed” by the low fees paid for top managers considering their importance.

When asked about potential compensation for Iraola, he told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “We say it’s a big fee – it could end up being £5-10million, probably closer to the £10million end.
“Is that a big fee? We’re talking about £100million players, but managers are vitally important to clubs. It’s always amazed me.
“I’m surprised manager fees are still so low.
“£10million will be the sort of number Tottenham would be looking at to get Iraola, but he’s not the only name in the frame.
“Postecoglou has still got the Europa League to try and win, and that could stabilise his position. There’s still a lot to play out.”

Romero could quit Tottenham for just £50m
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on Monday (31 March) that Tottenham star Cristian Romero could be prised away from the club with a bid of just £50million this summer.
Atletico Madrid are the latest top side to be linked with a potential swoop for the 26-year-old centre-back.
Romero is believed to be keen to play regular Champions League football and fight for trophies.
