Frank had won his first North London derby in pre-season as Pape Matar Sarr’s goal gave Spurs a 1-0 win over Arsenal.
Sarr started on the bench in this clash and Bentancur, who was rewarded with a new Spurs contract earlier this season, lined up alongside Palhinha.
Spurs fans do not want to see the duo start together again in midfield, with many believing it is a sign of negativity.
