Tottenham Exclusive: Daniel Levy has personally landed astonishing ‘£800m’
Daniel Levy’s personal stake in Tottenham is worth an astonishing $1billion (£800million) after the club’s value has soared in recent years.
That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider Spurs’ financial strategy has been lucrative for Levy’s personal wealth.
It has been widely reported this year Levy has been in talks to sell a minority stake that could value Tottenham at up to £3.75billion.
The 62-year-old has held his role as chairman since 2001 and his family are 29.88 per cent investors in Spurs’ majority shareholder ENIC, which owns 86.58 per cent of the club.
Tottenham’s board came under fire recently when star defender Cristian Romero criticised the club’s lack of spending.
Spurs’ revenue rose to a club record £549.6million in their latest accounts for 2022-23 after their commercial revenue increased to £227.7million across the same period.

Borson insisted Levy is one of the most successful British entrepreneurs after seeing his net worth grow substantially.
He told Football Insider: “Spurs have got a choice, but I think the chances are that they will continue with their strategy.
“It’s been very successful from a financial perspective.
“It’s been very personally lucrative for Daniel Levy that the business has gone from a valuation when he took over of probably £500million in total to maybe five times that today.
“He’s seen growth in his equity as well, so he’s gone from being worth quite a lot to being worth nearly $1billion.
“We sort of lose sight of the fact he’s one of the most successful British entrepreneurs around if he’s worth $1billion.
“There are not that many British billionaire-dollar people.”
