Tottenham expected starting XI v Newport: Fan favourite starts as Poch rings changes
Michel Vorm (Goalkeeper) – Vorm has covered ably for number one Hugo Lloris on many occasions and is almost certain to do so once again for the cup clash.
Kyle Walker-Peters (Right-back) – Walker-Peters was linked with a loan to Southampton in January, but that move did not go through for unknown reasons. The youngster should get a chance to impress against Newport, with both Kieran Trippier due a rest, and Serge Aurier to not be risked.
Toby Alderweireld (Centre-back) – Alderweireld has not played for Spurs since breaking down at the start of November but he is fully fit again and the huge fan favourite is likely to be recalled.
Juan Foyth (Centre-back) – Young enforcer Foyth has impressed during his cup outings this season and is likely to be given another chance to impress as the regular defender are given a breather.
Danny Rose (Left-back) – Rose suffered another injury setback in recent weeks and that has left Ben Davies to play every game on the left. Davies now needs a rest, and the England international flyer is expected to be reinstated.
